About the role

  • As a member of our finance team, you will be responsible for the billing,collections and publisher payments process; you’ll issue invoices to customers worldwide for our Programmatic business. You’ll work cross-functionally with several departments to establish financial processes to grow and scale our business from a billing perspective.
  • Responsibilities
  • Prepare and send invoices to customers worldwide
  • Monitor customer accounts, track payments and manage A/R aging
  • Follow up on delinquent accounts and drive cash collection
  • Maintain accurate records of billing,collection and publisher payable activities
  • Manage the publisher payables schedule
  • Process publisher payouts and ensure accurate reconciliation of delivery
  • Respond to customer and publisher inquiries related to billing, payments and payouts
  • Work with the Sales, Customer services and Legal teams to resolve any discrepancies and align on data
  • Prepare monthly billing, A/R and publisher payout reports for management
  • Stay up-to-date with industry regulations and compliance requirements (ex.: Sales taxes)

What you need to be successful in this role

  • 3+ years of experience in billing,collections and payables in a high-growth international company (media/programmatic is an asset)
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Google Suite
  • Knowledge of accounting principles and practices, A/R and A/P processes
  • Performed a variety of month-end closing duties and A/R analysis
  • Strong customer service skills – you pride yourself on building long-lasting relationships with your clients
  • Previous experience with Salesforce and/or Sage-Intacct (we consider this an asset)
  • Strong attention to detail
