• Job Description
• Do you have a passion for making high quality beverages while working in a fast paced environment running food, demonstrating effective table maintenance and exceeding guests’ expectations?
• Our Baristas play an integral role in the overall success of the stylish gourmet outlet through portraying excellent communication and attention to detail.
• We have Barista opportunities within two of our Restaurant's, Vermillion Room & Stock - Food & Beverage (Coffee Shop)
• Starting Rate: $17.33 per hour
• We recognize tenure through our compensation. Hourly rates increase after six months, and yearly to three years. At three years the pay rate for this role would be $18.85.
• Note - preference will be given to those that our available for the full season (May 12- October 15th)

Job Duties Include

• Discuss food and beverage items, make suggestions and answer any guest inquiries
• Take guest orders accurately and process purchases using the POS system
• Operate coffee making equipment and present beverages according to recipe and presentation standards
• Have full knowledge of all food and beverage menu items, garnishes, contents and preparation methods
• Maintain accurate billing, cash handling and float procedures
• Qualifications

Your Skills & Qualifications

• Must have Pro-Serve Certification
• Previous barista or food and beverage experience in a high-volume and fast paced environment required
• Previous point-of-sale system experience required
• Schedule flexibility, including early mornings, late nights, weekends, holidays
• Must be able to lift and carry 30+ lbs and be able to be on your feet for 8 hours or more
