About

Education: College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 3 months to less than 1 year. Work site environment: Confined spaces. Work setting: Urban area. Ensure that the installation, maintenance, repair and overhaul of systems meet Transport Canada and company standards of performance and safety. Overhaul aircraft instruments. Repair and overhaul, modify, install and test aircraft electrical systems and equipment. Test electrical, electronic and instrument components. Troubleshoot communications, navigation, and autoflight equipment. Troubleshoot, repair, install and inspect aircraft systems and components. Certificates, licences, memberships, and courses : Avionics Mechanic Trade Certification. Aircraft Maintenance Engineer's Licence (AME) - E. CAMC Aircraft Maintenance Technician Certification. Aircraft experience: Small piston airplane. Large piston airplanes. Small turboprops. Large turboprops. Small jet airplane. Large jet airplanes. Type of industry experience: Commercial air carrier.
