We are seeking an experienced architect to assist in the design of a modified CRM web application. Our client is looking for functionality that already exists in other CRMs. They then want to add custom payment paths for different clients to help them manage their business. We are trying to decide what to use as our base. There are a few open source CRMs we are considering, and some that are also licensed software. We are not married to one direction or the other. The primary features we are looking for are: 1. Full customer management 2. Customer login portal for self-management 3. Full pipeline control for different processes with custom triggers (send emails when onboarding etcetera) 4. Ability to add products and have those products connected to a storefront through which customers can flow. 5. Business-side portal that integrates seamlessly with the customer side 6. Full task management and control This is obviously a big ask and our first step is to choose what to build this on. We are capable of building it ourself, but I need assistance for making the choice about what to build on. If you are not prepared to discuss the path forward for this software off the top of your head, you are not a good fit for this role.
