• You will be responsible for general and specific accounting tasks, with an emphasis on processing accounts payable and vendor communications. This role requires an in-depth understanding of procurement and AP processes.
• Essential Responsibilities
• Perform steps to process vendor invoices in an accurate and timely manner.
• Review/input vendor setup, including bank information, and tax documents.
• Support vendor communications such as responding to basic inquiries.
• Learn and contribute to monthly accounting tasks such as bank reconciliations and credit card reconciliations.
• Work with procurement to request POs for invoices that don’t have one already.
• Resolve discrepancies between POs, invoices, and receipts.
• Assist with Month End Close procedures including preparing accruals.
• Support finance and accounting projects as needed.
• Perform ad hoc projects in accounting as required.
• Qualifications
• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting (or equivalent work experience)
• 2 years of industry experience in accounts payable
• Proficient in Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, etc.), Microsoft Office, and Google Suite
• Experience with Zip, Bill.com, Coupa, or similar procurement platforms
• Self starter, work autonomously while also contributing as part of a collaborative team
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, detail oriented
• Preferred Qualifications
• Experience with Netsuite
