Job Description: We run a hauling business and have data stored in Airtable: job details, pricing, customer timelines, resource documents (sales decks, SOPs, training materials, etc.). We want to build a “knowledge & operations bot” that can help with many functions across the business. What this bot / system should be able to do: Serve as training material: guide new employees in hauling operations, the software tools we use, company SOPs, safety, etc. Pull sales/job data and answer business-metrics questions, e.g. “What was the average order in June 2025?”, “What was net profit last month?”, “Which clients gave us the most profit?”, etc. Allow retraining: when SOPs or processes change, easily update the system so the bot reflects latest practices. Answer questions about clients, jobs, timelines, past work: “What’s going on with client X?”, “Show me the delivery schedule for job Y”, etc. Act as a general resource for all things hauling: policies, equipment, pricing guidelines, best practices, etc. What we’re looking for: Someone with experience building internal chatbots or assistant tools (especially ones that connect to Airtable or similar data sources) Good understanding of AI / NLP tools (fine-tuning or prompt engineering) and integrations Ability to build versioned knowledge base / documentation / user training materials Comfortable with metrics / data analysis, so we can build dashboards or query interfaces for business intelligence Bonus if you know: No-code / low-code tools that integrate well with Airtable Generative AI + retrieval pipelines UX for internal tools so non-tech employees can easily use it Deliverables / milestones we’d expect: Audit of current data / resources (jobs, pricing, decks, SOPs, etc.), assess “clean-up” needs Prototype of a question/answer bot that can handle a few core queries (profit, average orders, client / job lookups) Build knowledge base / documentation repository + user training flows Deployment / onboarding internally, with feedback loop and ability to update info as things change Maintenance plan for keeping content up to date, plus analytics (what questions get asked, gaps in knowledge, etc.)
