- EVENTS AND GROUPS ASSISTANT

- We’re seeking an enthusiastic, detail-oriented Events & Groups Assistant to support the planning and delivery of exceptional events and group experiences. This role is ideal for someone looking to grow their career in events, hospitality, and resort operations while working in a dynamic, work-hard-play-hard environment.
- JOB SUMMARY
- The Events & Groups Assistant supports the Events & Group Coordinator and Events Manager in the execution of resort-hosted events and group programs. This role focuses on administrative support, logistics coordination, and on-site assistance to ensure events and group experiences are delivered smoothly and professionally.
- From weddings and corporate groups to festivals, real estate showcase events, and group travel programs, the Events & Groups Assistant helps manage the details that bring each experience to life, ensuring a high standard of service and guest satisfaction at every touchpoint.
- JOB DUTIES
- Event & Group Support
- Assist with the coordination and execution of resort-hosted events, including weddings, conferences, festivals, and special events.
- Support group bookings by helping prepare itineraries, schedules, and activity confirmations.
- Assist with real estate-related events, property tours, and showcase weekends.
- Help prepare event orders, timelines, checklists, and setup details.
- Support client communication by assisting with confirmations, information requests, and follow-ups.
- On-Site Event & Group Assistance
- Assist with event and group setup, execution, and teardown.
- Support the Events & Group Coordinator as needed during live events.
- Help ensure guest arrival, registration, and transitions run smoothly.
- Provide friendly, professional guest support and escalate issues when needed.
- Vendor, Partner & Department Coordination
- Assist with coordinating vendors such as AV, décor, catering, transportation, and entertainment.
- Help communicate event and group requirements with internal departments including Food & Beverage, Front Office, Housekeeping, and Activities.
- Support timeline tracking to ensure all departments and vendors are aligned.
- Administration & Reporting
- Assist with maintaining event and group documentation and files.
- Help compile post-event notes, feedback, and satisfaction insights.
- Support data entry and basic reporting related to events and groups.
- Marketing & Guest Experience Support
- Assist with capturing event and group content (photos, short videos) for marketing use.
- Help ensure all guest interactions reflect Revelstoke Mountain Resort’s brand standards and commitment to excellence.
- Experience / Passions / Education
- 0–2 years of experience in hospitality, events, tourism, or customer service (resort experience an asset).
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Friendly, professional communication skills with a guest-first mindset.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
- Comfortable using Microsoft Office; experience with event or booking systems is an asset.
- Available to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
