Job Summary
We are seeking a reliable and highly organized Administrative Assistant / Parts Runner to support daily operations within a busy oilfield company. This role is responsible for the accurate preparation and processing of work tickets, as well as the timely delivery of parts and supplies to our Wonowon, BC location.
The ideal candidate will possess strong organizational skills, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Strong computer proficiency is essential, including experience with QuickBooks, Open Invoice/Open Ticket, GEP Smart, FieldCap, Microsoft Office, and Google Workspace.
This position offers the opportunity to play a key role in operational efficiency while gaining valuable experience in a dynamic work environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Collect, organize, and prepare all required information for work tickets
- Create, submit, and track work tickets to ensure timely processing
- Ensure tickets are signed, coded, and completed promptly
- Maintain accurate filing systems and organized records
- Assist with filing, documentation, and administrative bookkeeping
- Support the Controller with administrative duties, including:
- Preparing payroll documentation
- Posting subcontractor invoices
- General administrative support as needed
- Provide administrative assistance to office staff as required
- Communicate promptly with the Controller regarding any issues related to work tickets or parts
- Safely and efficiently deliver parts, supplies, and documents to the Wonowon location using a company vehicle
Qualifications & Experience
- Previous office or administrative experience preferred
- Proficiency with QuickBooks, Open Invoice/Open Ticket, GEP Smart, FieldCap, Microsoft Office (Word, Excel), and Google Workspace is highly desirable
- Experience with data entry and filing systems is an asset
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively
- Excellent communication skills and professional phone etiquette
- Ability to manage multiple responsibilities while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: $22.00-$28.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 – 50 per week
