About
I’m looking to hire an experienced 3D visualization artist who can create a true-to-scale 3D mockup of a digital billboard at a real-world location. The goal is to simulate what a driver would see when approaching the sign from both directions - including accurate distances, sightlines, elevation changes, and realistic camera movement at driving speed. We have multiple projects available for the right candidate. Please provide a fixed quote in your proposal. What You’ll Deliver 1 .A 3D environment built from the actual site address, using: - Imported real-world map/terrain data (OpenStreetMap, GIS, Google Earth Studio, or equivalent) - Accurate road geometry and elevation - Placement of the billboard structure at the exact position we specify 2. Billboard modeled to exact dimensions (we supply final width/height). 3. Two drive-by simulations: - Right-hand read (approx. 104m viewing distance) - Left-hand read (approx. 150m viewing distance) 4. Camera movement simulating a driver: - Driver-eye height (~1.2m) - Realistic speed (we provide km/h) - Smooth approach, pass-by, and fade-off distance 5. Final outputs: - MP4 video(s) of both drive-by simulations - Still render frames at key distances (150m, 120m, 100m, 75m, 50m, 25m, etc.) - Source file(s) if possible (Lumion, Blender, Unreal, etc.) Tools You Can Use (Any Are Fine) - Lumion (with real-world terrain import) - Blender + GIS add-ons - Unreal Engine + GIS tools - Google Earth Studio (for terrain) + 3D overlay - SketchUp + Placemaker - Any professional toolset that can produce an accurate end result Skills Required - Experience with 3D architectural visualization - Ability to work with GIS / real-world map data (Very important - we need it to mockup the exact location) - Experience creating camera animations or drive-through sequences - Understanding of scale, sightlines, field-of-view, and billboard visualization a plus What I Provide - Exact billboard dimensions - Exact proposed pole location - Site address + coordinates - Preferred viewing distances Your Proposal Should Include - Examples of past 3D environment or drive-through projects - What software you plan to use - Confirmation that you can import real-world location data - Estimated timeline - Fixed price quote
