Responsibilities:Some of the responsibilities of this position include but are not limited to

  • Supporting in the provision of security and access services to client ministries and agencies, ensuring appropriate authorizations are in place, approvals maintained for OAG audit purposes, and troubleshooting and assistance provided to clients as required within the 1GX system (Government of Alberta’s Enterprise Resource Planning software based on SAP).
  • This role has Business analyst responsible for Electronic Records Access (ERA).  ERA uses Documentum and reporting using Delilah. This includes working with the Service Provider, creating Change orders, updating user access, and managing the budget.
  • Coordinating the access security for other systems outside of 1GX i.e.: IMAGIS cloud, Cloudera etc.
  • Overseeing the creation of entirely new GRC roles for ministries that are created or merged to support reorganizations.
  • Ensuring that security administration operating processes and procedures are fully documented and maintained.
  • Creating and producing reports for Security mass changes, mitigation review, role review, and role reconciliations. 
  • Helping with internal and external system audits
  • Managing and coordinating periodic access and permissions reviews across all ministries and ILOs.
  • Implement and adopt Aritifical Intelligence technologies to drive operational effectiveness.

  • Qualifications Required: 
  • University graduation in a related field such as Business Administration, Information Technology, Computer Science.
  • Minimum of 2 years of progressively responsible related experience in;
  • User management and access provisioning, user risk monitoring, role development in the SAP system.
  • Role Based user Security, using SAP Governance, Risk & Controls (GRC).
  • User Security using Documentum or other Content Management systems.
  • User security in other systems such as Opentext, PeopleSoft.
  •  Equivalency: Directly related education or experience considered on the basis of: 
  • 1 year of education for 1 year of experience; or
  • 1 year of experience for 1 year of education

 Assets

  • Strong computer knowledge, including Java, Microsoft Office Document Imaging (MODI), Documentum.
  • Experience in technical systems such as software applications, networks, security issues, and system testing.
  • Experience working with regulations and policies related to records management.
  • Experience working with reporting tools such as Documentum Query Language (DQL), Delilah for ECM Documentum, SAP QM 4 reporting, SuccessFactors reporting, GRC Reporting tools or similar.
  • Experience in a variety of MS office software (Visio, PowerPoint, Excel, Word, MS Project, etc.)
  • Experience with ERP applications and interaction between various modules and components of applications (e.g., HR, SCM, Finance).
  • Experience in project planning and management methodologies and best practices.
  • Experience in resource management, risk analysis, controls, change and issues management, and progress monitoring and reporting.
  • Experience in research, analysis, and interpretation e.g., research issue related to user data protection, or risk assessment and using data analysis tools and techniques to interpret the data and translate into user friendly training.
  • Adaptable, forward-thinker, with an eagerness to learn and leverage Artificial Intelligence and emerging technologies to drive operational efficiency.
